Presentation: Have the card face-up under the transparent window of the wallet.  The Chinese coin, with the magnetic half dollar under it, is beneath the opposite transparent window.  The blackened magnet appears that you are seeing through the hole in the Chinese coin to the black plastic wallet.

1. Open the case and remove the Chinese coin and half dollar gimmick. Cover the hole in the coin as it is removed with your thumb and forefinger.  Do not remove the card.
2. Place the opened case face down on the table.
3. Place the coin, Chinese coin side up, on the wallet over the side that hold the card.
4. Fold the wallet back so that the empty window side is now showing.
5. Turn the wallet over so that the card is now showing. While turning, hold the coin so that it does not slip out.
6. Remove the card from the wallet and wave it over the wallet. Say the magic words.
7. Unfold the wallet and show that the Chinese coin is now a half dollar.
8. Lay the card onto the half dollar. Now lift the card straight up.  The half dollar will adhere to the card and make the Chinese coin re-appear.
9. Slide the card out of your hand as if you were dealing cards. As you do this, hold back the half dollar and drop the card on the table for examination.

Routine #2 “Two Coin Transportation” By Steve Dawson, The Magic Touch

Effect: A Chinese coin and a half dollar are shown inside one of the compartment of the wallet.  The playing card is in the other.  Remove the card from the wallet.  Ask the spectator to select one of the two coins.  Remove the selected coin from the wallet.  The wallet is closed and the selected coin is placed on the wallet over the coin in the closed wallet.  This coin is tapped with the card and the two coins change places.

Presentation: On the right side of the open wallet place the Chinese coin with the gimmick beneath it.  Also in this compartment place a real half dollar.  The left side of the wallet will hold the playing card supplied.

1. Open the wallet and show the two coins and the card. Remove the card and place it on the table.  Explain what the two coins are and ask the spectator to choose one.  Use the technique known as the “Magician’s Choice.”  If the spectator picks the Chinese coin, say “Good, that’s the one we will leave in the wallet.”  If the half dollar is chosen, say “Good, we will take that one out of the wallet.”  Leaving the Chinese coin in the wallet.
2. Either way, the gimmick coin is removed from the wallet by tilting the wallet up and slightly out of the viewing angle of the spectator. Take the gimmicked coin in your right finger and hold it so the half dollar side shows.  Close the wallet and lay it on the table.
3. With the wallet on the table trace around the real half dollar with your finger. So that the outline of the coin can be seen through the vinyl.  Have the spectator touch the wallet to fell this coin.
4. Place the gimmick coin half dollar side up over the coin in the wallet. Take the playing card supplied and bend it back slightly and snap it down onto the gimmick, as to drive the coin through the wallet.  The gimmick will adhere to the bottom of the card.
5. Slide the card out of your hand as if you were dealing cards. As you do this hold back the half dollar and drop the card onto the table for examination.
6. Remove the Chinese coin from the top of the wallet. Open the wallet and show the real half dollar.  The coins have changed places!
